Aavid Thermal Technologies, Inc. Ideal for outdoor applications such as cooling wireless telephone switching cabinets, these products have been designed to withstand Bellcore, CSA and UL tests including wind driven rain, salt fog, shock/vibration and high humidity. These high performance air-to-air heat exchangers will operate for multiple years in remote locations with minimum maintenance.

Minimizing maintenance and repair costs, Aavid's air-to-air heat exchangers are field repairable and utilize closed loop speed controlled brushless DC, air circulation fans. In addition, separate internal and external air circuits eliminate water leaks into the electronics enclosure.

The non-fouling heat exchange element, internal cabinet air heater elements and alarm output control logic system, make this line of cabinet coolers the most sophisticated on the market. No refrigeration or sub-ambient cooling is used, ensuring high reliability and low service requirements. Custom designs for specific applications can also be made using existing building block modules.

Standard Series 2700 Air-to-Air heat exchangers are available at a list price of $3,192.00 each at quantities of 100 pieces. Custom designs are also available at proportionate price/quantity levels.
